The Lockyer Valley Regional Council comprises the former Gatton and Laidley Shire Councils. Lockyer Valley Regional Council comprises of an elected Mayor and 6 Councillors, with an equivalent full time staff of approx 300.
Both Gatton and Laidley Shires shared a strong and proud history in the development of the region, and now continue to do that as one.
